Wow what a woman, she always believed in me and told me everything I needed to know about golf and how great Kooyonga was as a club. I was only young still in High School at Walford when I wanted to join, she said Verity don’t worry leave it with me and I’ll get you in. By the age of 20 there I was a member then went on to win the President Cup trophy and the B grade club championships. I loved the pennant days, she always had a laugh when I would miss a shot and the champagne was always flowing. I can’t believe times have changed, the last game I played with her was memorable when on the 16th green I said Ann you have lost lots of weight, she replied I’m sick Verity not sure how long I have. OMG I felt like crying but meanwhile hit a rubbish shot into the bushes
Love u always Verity"

"Goodbye Ann. As Ann’s advisor for many years I had the privilege of knowing her love for life, her ups & downs, her care for those around her. She asked for little and gave a lot. She was a lovely and caring person and will be very sadly missed.
To Guy, Anne, John & families, my sincere condolences.

"Ann, we will miss you and your company. I loved spending time with you, and also being your flower delivery girl, on behalf of John. Your boy loves you, and he always made sure you felt special on your birthday, because you meant the world to him, and I was so happy to deliver the love and flowers, and to see your happiness when you received them. Love you xxx Amy x"

"Ann, a wonderful woman, lots of laughs and champagnes shared together. A really special lady who will be missed. Lots of special memories always in my heart, I will miss our chats together, and loved sharing so many times at the winery and beach house where we both were blown away by what John has so cleverly created. I know you were so proud of John, and what he has achieved, because you really believed in him and what he could create. We had a special friendship that I will never forget. xxx"
