"Dearest Pam, Julie & Adrian, Suzy & Simon, Michael & Karen.
My thoughts are with all of you , with the loss of Bruce, a dignified and intelligent man, proactive and loyal.
I am sorry I couldnt be there, Covid restrictions re Queensland.
Bruce, both you and my father John had very similar aspirations whilst in the RAAF during WW2 and after the war.
Our family is small, but we have been fortunate to have shared many happy and memorable experiences during our lives together. I feel blessed for the family I was granted and miss all of you quite often, unique and strong characters with a sense of adventure and discovery.
Hope you enjoyed the service Bruce the family afforded you, I found it moving and enjoyed the pictures. My work colleagues think Suzy and I are twins. Definitely both take after the Jenkins side genetically.
Take care my family and be at peace as I pray Bruce is, a life to be proud of.
Much love
Sky (Deb) Jenkins"

"Dear Pam, Julie & Adrian, Suzy & Simon, and Michael & Karen.
I always think of Uncle Bruce as having had a healthy, long and fulfilling life, and what a great innings. A man with strong conviction and belief of what’s good for humanity. His passing on Jenny’s 67th birthday, given Jenny’s fate makes it even more memorable. I will always remember those great family Christmas lunches in Belair in the 1970’s and 1980’s.
My thoughts and feelings are with all the family and sorry I couldn’t be there in person.
With much Love,
Mark, Jenny, Kirsty & Nicole Jenkins"

"Dear Pam, Julie, Suzy and Michael,
We are so sad to hear that your wonderful husband and father is no longer with us and send our sympathy.
The Dinham and Harris families shared a great friendship and so many happy times in Burnell Drive which will always be fondly remembered.
Those we love are always with us. Bruce's laughter, his wisdom and thoughtfulness are gifts of love that are ours to keep.
Unfortunately we are unable to attend Bruce's farewell however we will be thinking of you all and wishing you many happy memories.
With much love
Kris & Richard Lorraine"

"Dear Pam and Family
On behalf of Cam and myself, I want to express our sympathy for your loss. Cam phoned me with the news and we also felt a loss.
Bruce was so good and kind to our father Jim, both throughout his working life and especially when in care at the War Veterans Home. We will not forget his enduring friendship.
He made big contributions during a life well lived.
What wonderful men they were.
Sincerely
Helen Mackie Queensland, daughter of Jim and Marion Mackie."
