"Great memories of Murray ......looking after us when quite a few would land in Adelaide over the summer break.
He treated us all like family whilst we were there ..... and I remember vividly ...... him not letting me go out one night 'until I ironed my shirt properly' (presentation was always important)
His leadership with the CFC Past Players and the establishment of the welfare fund will live on
Sincere condolences to Mark, Victoria and all the family
Best Regards
Pud Smith"

"Dear Murray, it is a pleasure to know you. My first personal introduction was when Wayne introduced me to you at the CFC Feb. 1976 at 5.30AM & I was put in your group for the trip to Singapore, Thailand & Pattaya. Before we left Tullamarine I new what I was in for for the next 2 weeks.
Over the years I loved your stories even though they were the same ones.
Best Wishes to All Your Family They Have Someone Wonderful To Remember.
