"Our sympathies to Beverley and the Oxlade family.
Ron and Beverley moved into their home in O’Donnell Drive Littlehampton the same day as we moved into ours opposite them.
Ron was a friendly neighbour with whom I often chatted. He had great general knowledge, interesting life experiences and always gave generous advice.
He loved and was extremely proud of his family.
Ron was a humble gentleman who will be sadly missed by Carmel and myself."

"Much love from Richard, Aster, Edward and Julian.
We remember Uncle Ron as a gentleman of amazing grace who was there for us all at the significant moments in our life. Uncle Ron and Aunty Bev were always impeccably dressed and impeccably mannered with kind warm smiles. Wise and unjudging with their advice, full of interesting and entertaining stories and genuine warmth.
Uncle Ron was master of ceremonies at our wedding. Was there to celebrate Richard's 21st Birthday. They were good friends with my parents Julie and Peter Cole, enjoying many dinners together and a cruise with Ray and Yvonne. My parents cherish those memories and recall them fondly many times.
Down at the river, Ray and Uncle Ron taught me how to play pool. They were kind with me, explaining that it is all about the leave. Later they taught me to water ski I think.
Uncle Ron and Aunty Bev lived together such a life of grace and love that it served to us as an exemplar of how to be."
